Problems after changing name of admin folder

I just installed V1.3.9f. Everything was going well until I followed the directions to change the name of my admin folder. I downloaded the configuration.php from the admin/includes folder, made the proper changes and uploaded it. The Zen cart manager seems to work fine except for anything in the Configuration column. When I click on the links there I get something like this: 404 Not Found The requested URL /goods/admin_zoot/configuration.php?gID=5 does not exist.

I have checked and rechecked the configuration.php and it looks right to me. Thanks for looking!

Re: Problems after changing name of admin folder

When you say you made the proper changes what do you mean?

When you say configuration.php do you really mean configure.php?

Re: Problems after changing name of admin folder

Hi Linda,
What I meant was that I followed the instructions and changed each instance of admin in the configure.php file to the new folder name and left the rest of it alone.

And yes, I guess I did mean configure.php.

Re: Problems after changing name of admin folder

Well I think I have the problem narrowed down. Now I need to find the fix. I am pretty sure that I deleted the wrong file when I went to upload the configure.php after I had edited it. I deleted the configuration.php in the admin folder as can be seen in the error message I keep getting. Is there a way to get a copy of that file without having to reinstall the store?

Re: Problems after changing name of admin folder

Okay, it seems I have solved the problem. I downloaded zen, unzipped it, and uploaded the configuration.php to the correct folder and all is well with the world.
