upload error with FCKeditor

Hi,
I am getting this error when I try to upload a file to one of the pages.

This connector is Disabled. Please check the " editor/filemanager/connectore/php/config.php " file.

I can not find this config file to check it. If i did find it what would I need to change?
Thanks:smile:

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

Using the developers tool kit in the admin I could not find that message
Most Zencart error messages are in red block
Is this in a red block?
May not be a Zencart error message

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

Upload the file with your FTP program instead.

Using upload tools within HTML editors is DANGEROUS. Use your FTP program instead.

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

Hi,
I get this error if I try to change the properties of an image Or more so If I click the Insert image button on FCK edit. I thought that is what the button is used for to add pics.

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

I did find where this path is. FCKeditor folder. I dril down to the file and look at it, I added php to the allow in files and html but no difference. I have never seen this before in the years I been installing the cart.

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

I strongly recommend using CKeditor instead. But that's personal preference.

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

Hi Doc,
I did not know their was a difference. I can give it a try. Do I need to remove the FCK edit files and folders? After updating all the carts and installin 2 clean 139g this one is the only one that gave me this error of problem.????
Thanks

Re: upload error with FCKeditor

Hi,
Well maybe something else is going on.
I kept getting strange things happening so I downloaded, unzipped, and uploaded 139g then installed the copy.
Besides the upload error I was getting

If I use CKEdit or HTMLarg and enter the line like this.

Come in and find the many fine Crafts, Antiques, & Art supplys. Scrap Booking products and classes. Sign Up..

Dont forget the Flowers guys

It shows on the main page like this

<h2>  </h2> <p style="text-align: center">  </p> <p> <font color="#0033cc">Come in and find the many fine Crafts, Antiques, & Art supplys. Scrap Booking products and classes. Sign Up..</font></p> <p> <font color="#0033cc">Dont forget the Flowers guys</font></p> ------------- and the same if I try to add the pic. No pic just the link info. Like the source button was toggled but it is not.

Only the plain text mode shows correctly.
With no pics of course.
Tried changing templates with the same results on the main page.
Have not run accross this before, figured reinstall would take care of any file bug or damaged file.
Ideas?
Thanks,
M
