Well here is what I got after 4 days. I think I am doing ok for not knowing zencart or php

A couple questions

How do I change the color of the slider buttons? I want to get rid of the aqua color.

Why are the featured products at the bottom always uneven. If I hit refresh they become uneven in different ways with every new refresh

Can you recommend an addon I can use with this template to make the categories area look better? I am not looking for anything crazy just to make it a bit more professional looking.

I am very thankful for the template and would like to make a donation. Where can I do this at

To change the aqua color in your slider buttons, find this line in your stylesheet.css:

ol#controls li.current a{background:#5dc9e1;color:#fff;}
```...........and simply change the background color (#5dc9e1).


The Featured products are all nice and even-looking to me, and I've loaded, reloaded, and reloaded again in IE, FF, and Chrome.

You already have a custom menu, but the great thing about that menu is that you can make it look ANY way you want just by changing a little css.

to make the featured items spacing the same all the time no matter what the length of the title, etc. you can add styling via the stylesheet.css.

is there a way to get the slider pick random pictures? instead of only 5 pre defined once? alot of work just to change all this images when you would like to have more than 5 slider images on site

When that link is visited, it shows the page to create an account. I would like to know how to show the index, and if they click on categories etc, it would THEN take them to create account. Or add that slider to the 'Create an Account' page...

Thank Anne for those tips! I know where I want to put the slider now... the only thing is, I don't know what yo edit out of the code to paste in the section I want it to appear...Could you provide me a hint?
