How to Delete STEP 2 of Checkout ?

ver 1.3.9c

My checkout process is Three Steps. The second step which just shows the shipping cost is uneccessary and just more reason to abandon the cart. How can I delete this step and go right from adding name and address in step 1 then straight to credit card info in step 3 ? Skipping step 2 altogether.

Thanks, I downloaded Fast and easy checkout. Now need to hire someone to install it as I just don't have time and the patience to deal with the issues I have read on the Fasty and Easy Checkout thread. .
