Retail / Wholesale. Dual Pricing + Attributes Grid?
I tried a different section with no real responses, so I'll try here!
Hopefully some of you fine folks out there can help out with this...
I currently have 2 zen cart sites.
1 Retail, 1 Wholesale.
Retail is pretty basic with a drop down menu for sizes
(http://store.nightgauntgraphics.com/)
Wholesale is set up with Product Attribute Grid for sizes
(http://wholesale.nightgauntgraphics.com/)
I would like to merge the 2 sites using Dual Pricing
for wholesale customers.
(a lot easier to maintain 1 site!)
Now, the problem I'm foreseeing is including the Product Attribute Grid for wholesale log in ONLY.
I need to keep the drop down menu for sizing on retail.
Not because I think people are stupid, it's because I've had a lot of problems in the past with retail folks not understanding how to order 1 shirt - 1 size with a grid.
Originally I had 1 site (the Retail) with the Product Attribute Grid and used "group pricing" for wholesale customers.
"Group Pricing" did not work out because it only took off XX% on the entire cart instead of actually showing/changing prices.
To sum it up, this is what I am hoping to do:
Combine the 2 sites.
Retail customers get retail pricing with a drop down menu for sizes.
Wholesale customers get wholesale pricing with the Attribute Grid for size quantities.
Does anyone know if it would be possible to set this up properly
or am I just being silly?
Cheers!
