How to bill a customer?

My customer ordered some items from my store.
One of the items i was out of stock. The item was $11.99
I asked her to see if she wanted to see if there was a different one to repalce it.
She found one for $24.99 and said to bill her the difference.
How do i bill her and send her a reciept for the payment from my end.
Maybe walk me through it, im not to sure where to find things and change without help.

You must not have stock control enabled/setup or they xould not have successfully purchased an item that was out of stock

For rthese situation one creates on their own there is no builting facility to handle them

Explain it and temporarily create a product the same as the one they want but priced as the difference

Have them purchase this item
Then delete it

Ok i understand that, how can i turn the shipping off for that item while she purchases it so its only for $13.00
Can just the one item shipping be turned off temporarily

No but free ship should do it when you create it

hi kobra,

i put in a new product and gave it free shipping and a new price, however it will let me add to the shopping cart a product but when i go to the checkout it wont let me. i get a messeg saying

" Not Available At This Time
Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements. "

and thats as far as i can go.

how can i correct this

Try installing admin > modules > shipping > free shipper
