Proper way to add images to pages?

Personally I think using ANY upload tool in an HTML editor is a BAD thing. It leaves you open to security problems, and is really just the wrong way to put content on your site.

Picked this statement off another thread.

What would be the proper way to add images to define pages or product info pages?

Thanks

Dalton

Define pages:

<img src="/includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/images/IMAGE.gif"> or wherever you upload your image to. make the path is correct.

Dont put full url in there. eg : http://www...all that.

Product images:

with the tool that is on insert product page. I had no problem with it ever.
