Renaming month and day in order history

Hello Zenners,
I'm stuck with one issue concerning the month and day displayed in order history of each customer. I'm using different language for zen and i almost translated everything (using UTF8 Unicode Language). Everything works fine, but when customer sees its order history in account control panel the date of purchase is displayed in english (month and day). I was able to find the "months" string in admin/includes/language/english and renamed it to my language, but nothing changed. I didn't create new language, i just translated the english language pack so the system is using english but in fact the different language is displayed. I even searched the database and wasn't able to find any of entries regarding days and months. Any suggestions to solve this issue? I really need to translate day and month to my language. I'm using 1.3.9g. Thanks in advance

Re: Renaming month and day in order history

Try to edit This:

@setlocale(LC_TIME, 'en_US.ISO_8859-1');

in your main language file.

mine is @setlocale(LC_TIME, 'id_ID.ISO_8859-1'); and works..

Re: Renaming month and day in order history

The date and time strings are created by a call to the PHP function strftime(...) and controlled by the locale that is set by the main language file (/languages/YOUR_TEMPLATE/YOUR_LANGUAGE.php). Here's what the english.php file uses

// look in your $PATH_LOCALE/locale directory for available locales..
// on RedHat try 'en_US'
// on FreeBSD try 'en_US.ISO_8859-1'
// on Windows try 'en', or 'English'
  @setlocale(LC_TIME, 'en_US.ISO_8859-1');
  define('DATE_FORMAT_SHORT', '%m/%d/%Y'); // this is used for strftime()
  define('DATE_FORMAT_LONG', '%A %d %B, %Y'); // this is used for strftime()
  define('DATE_FORMAT', 'm/d/Y'); // this is used for date()
  define('DATE_TIME_FORMAT', DATE_FORMAT_SHORT . ' %H:%M:%S');

You'll need to change your language file to set the locale for your language.
