My logo is not changing

Hi. I am trying to change my logo.
I uploaded the logo to my ftp. (Where my previous logo is kept)
I then changed the "header.php" file to encoporate my changes.

define('HEADER_ALT_TEXT', 'Powered by Zen Cart :: The Art of E-Commerce');
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', 'gamenet');
define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '800px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '64px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'logo+number.gif');

I then uploaded it yesterday. And it is still not changed. The original logo is still up.

note: There is only one copy of the header.php in the file.
under Includes > languages > english

Please add your logo inside the template image folder.

The images folder is available includes/templates/<your template>/images

ah yes. that is where i placed the file. my old file is still in there however. but the header is telling it to use the new one but it is still not working?

so very confused.

oh. i tried deleting it. my website reverted to the zencart logo, i then put the logo back in and it went back to normal. but my new logo is STILL not showing up

no. That is my logo. I am trying to change the logo, the new logo has my 1300 number encorporated into it.

What happens if you rename the image:
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'logo1300.gif');

so that you are not using special characters in it? :unsure:

Also it will be better if you could check again whether you named the image correctly in the header file of template folder and not outside.

This is driving me crazy. I was thinking the same thing Ajeh. However i changed it to logo1300.gif, added the picture, uploaded the files and all that. STILL nothing.

Go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE

Select Catalog and click search ...

What files have the define statement for that and what image is in the define statement?

Then, that define should be shown in the tpl_header.php to call that image ... this too should show ... is your template and override file using that define or is the image name hard coded?

All of the headers have been changed. but it still is not changing?

Why don't you just change the contents of logo.gif and save having to edit any PHP files?
