How to set different images to different attributes?

Hy!
I am the owner of a clothing shop.
I have many colors for every product and i would like to make in a way that when you choose a color from the list (dropdown), the product's picture changes too, according to your choice.
I've searched the forum for 2 days and found nothing about this. If anybody can offer some support, i'd appreciate it!

There are a few 3rd party modules for swap

I've tried to set up AJAX image swapper, but I can't make it work. When i click on the selected abbribute, nothing is happening. Do i have other alternatives than AJAX?
