Exporting email addresses for "Subscribers"

How do I export email addresses for customers who have "opted-in" for our promotional offerings? In past we have simply snatched the customer email list for our email campaigns, however that practice is being frowned on by our email marketing service... sigh.

I don't see how we can export the email lists for those who have "opted -in"

We are on version 1.3.8a with some customization for order entry attributes.

"just trying to be legal"

Thanks

Search the Free Addons section for "Email Address Exporter"

Re: Exporting email addresses for "Subscribers"

Dear Dr. Byte,

For Zen Cart 1.3.9d, it errors with the following message:

Please choose the desired recipient list:
1267 Illegal mix of collations (latin1_general_ci,IMPLICIT) and (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation 'locate'
in:
[SELECT  s.email_address as customers_email_address FROM znc_subscribers as s  LEFT JOIN znc_configuration as q on LOCATE( s.email_address,  q.configuration_value) >= 1 WHERE configuration_key =  'NEWSONLY_SUBSCRIPTION_TEST_GROUP'  ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I know this mod is not meant for the newer version of Zen Cart, but will this mod be considered to be updated in the future? Thanks.

Re: Exporting email addresses for "Subscribers"

That error is a result of a problem with your Newsletter-Subscribe mod, not with the Email Address Exporter mod, namely the join it's doing between two tables of different character-sets.

Re: Exporting email addresses for "Subscribers"

Thanks for your reply Dr. Byte,

Ok, I'll double check what went wrong with the other module. Thanks!
