Searching for add-ons

I run a digital scrapbooking website with lots of manufacturers who upload their own products. I'm looking for an add-on or module that makes it so they only see their own products and can only create sales, specials and coupons for their own products. I've heard of others having something like this for zen cart.

I'm also looking for an add-on that allows a product to be available for purchase but not visible to the public. I want to be able to allow the creative team access to products before they are available to the general public, but I don't know how to accomplish that.

I would appreciate a point in the right direction for these two items. Thanks!!

For #1, you might test the Admin Profiles mod on a test site, but as I recall, it doesn't differentiate down to the product (or even category) level. I might be wrong though. Other than that, you're looking at custom coding.
