Images not showing & editing item will not fix

Hi,

I've been running Zen Cart for a long time, with VERY few problems. I have 1.3.8 with a handful of mods. Recently, I had some problems when my hosting company was purchased, and the new company changed some settings (security, etc).

Today, I noticed that some images do not show with the items on the site. I pulled up a few of the items in question, edited them, re-selected the image, did "preview", and the image was successfully uploaded.

However, the image does NOT show with the item on my site, AND those items cannot be selected for viewing, or they show nothing on the page.

I looked in PHPMYADMIN, and the image name is correct, AND I checked the website via an FTP program, and the images are in the right spot, and current date.

I've tried a bunch of things, and cannot get these to work at all. Some of the items are on this page: http://vtstuff.com/bennington-candle-m-15.html?page=4&sort=20a

Not quite sure what you mean, but I have checked the images several times, uploaded them manually, deleted from the site, and uploaded again, they are there, others with nearly identical names work fine. I think it's a code problem someplace, but can't figure out where & it's been a long time since I've worked with the code, I can't remember how to debug it any more.

Ajeh has given me some things to look at, too.

Well, it DOES seem to be something with the images, because I just tried an image from an item that IS working, and the item worked with that image...??? I've tried editing the image and re-saving as JPG, BMP, TIF, but none of them work...??? Any ideas what could be wrong? The image looks fine, and loads fine in several image editors, etc.

The word "well" appears to be getting blocked by your server. Maybe an over-aggressive mod_security rule imposed by your hosting company?
Definitely something your hosting company needs to fix for you.

Thanks to all who replied and helped me on this. It WAS a mod-security issue. Ajeh and DrByte hit this early today, and I emailed my hosting company the info, and they changed a setting which cured the problem! I had noticed a problem with entering any search term with "well" in the search box that was not working, and they concurred that it was mod-security. Again, THANK YOU!
