New template and Banners wont render...

Hello Everyone,

I started a new site with this the avigon template,
and when I enter a new banner I get the html code showing up
instead of the banner image??

So if you happen to use this template can you aslo point me in the right direction, I would like to edit the sidebox header text can't seem to find the right file yet....:blink:

okay I went ahead and created the file;

/admin/includes/extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

and added this code to it;

Could you now edit your Banners and save them and see if the changes happen? :unsure:

You should have made the extra_white_list.php file and loaded it to the server ...

Go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ...

and do a search for:
$my_whitelist

and see if you have the file:
/admin/includes/extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

on the list that shows up ...

showing:

$my_whitelist = array('file_contents', 'banners_html_text', 'pages_title', 'message_html', 'manufacturers_name', 'symbol_left', 'symbol_right', 'query_string');

Okay i did a search for ($my_whitelist) and this is what i found,

/home/flexpro1/public_html/flex1productions.org/store/zc_admin/includes/init_includes/init_sanitize.php

Line #25 : * $my_whitelist = array('some_field_name');

so let me get this straight, create the file: extra_white_list.php file and add this code to it. Should I create a folder for it or add to an existing folder on the server??

You make the file:
extra_white_list.php

and follow the instructions in post #52 for what the file should contain and load it, via FTP, to:
/admin/includes/extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

i have followed the instructions and creteded the file with the code in /admin/includes/extra_configures still having the same problem html code showing instead of banner....

after you loaded the file:
/admin/includes/extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

to your server ... did you then edit the banner in the Banner Manager and save it?

NOTE: I take your broken code for the banner and add it to my site with the whitelist file missing ... it is broke ...

I add the whitelist file, and edit the banner and save it ... and it is fixed ...

Hello Every still Need Help With Patch

I went ahead and reloaded the same template with this code already in extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

You made a brand new file:
/admin/includes/extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

You edited it and put inside it the code:

$global_xss_whitelist = isset($global_xss_whitelist) ? $global_xss_whitelist : array();
$my_whitelist  = array('file_contents', 'banners_html_text', 'pages_title', 'message_html', 'manufacturers_name', 'symbol_left', 'symbol_right', 'query_string');
$global_xss_whitelist = array_merge($my_whitelist, $global_xss_whitelist);

You then loaded this file:
extra_white_list.php

to your server with FTP and you see the file on the server in the directory:
/admin/includes/extra_configures

and now, if you go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and do a search in the bottom input box for:
$my_whitelist

you see a file come up that is in:
/admin/includes/extra_configures/extra_white_list.php

and you go to your Banner Manager in the Tools ... Banner Manager ... and edit each Banner and click the Update button ...
