Customizing positions of things on the products page

Thanks ahead of time for any responses.

I am trying to customize my products page so that attributes are presented a certain way. Specifically I want a series of options available on the right side of the image.. then one text field below the image.

Now.. since I have no plan of changing these attributes once they are in place.. I know I could change the .php for the generic product page and put in the attribute code rather than generate it... but then the attributes would be the same on every single product and there are a couple product categories where I do not want those attributes visible.

Is there a way to tell the PHP how to format the attributes so that they line up correctly and are placed where I want them to be?

In a copy of tpl_product_info_display.php the blocks are fairly well comented with bof & eof
re order them first then tweak with css

Re: Customizing positions of things on the products page

Well that gets the attributes where I want them but I need to change placement of individual attributes specifically. I want some of the attributes in one spot and others in another spot. Also I need to somehow line up the checkboxes on the attributes with multiple options using checkboxes.

I found the tpl_modules_attributes.php file and am currently playing with it on a test site.

Re: Customizing positions of things on the products page

I found all the CSS callouts for the various attribute listings like the CSS class for a checkbox. However I can not find these callouts on any of the active stylesheets on my site.

Am I missing a stylesheet or are these classes not defined? If not I could define them to get some of the fine tuning im looking for.

A sheet with every tag would be overly large

Just add the ones you need
