Using Linkpoint/YourPay API module with Zen Cart Zen Cart 1.3.0.1

I am using the Paypal API module with the following Zen Cart version:
Zen Cart 1.3.0.1
Database Patch Level: 1.3.0.2

I have been asked to make the Zen Cart shopping cart also work with the Link Data system (Linkpoint/YourPay API module). I see that the Linkpoint/YourPay API module is available in version 1.3.8a.

Is there any way at all to use the Linkpoint/YourPay API module in the 1.3.0.1 version I am using?

Your v1.3.0.1 site is VERY old, and has known serious security problems, discovered and reported and fixed in June 2009. All forum members were notified by email of the urgent need to upgrade to protect your site from those problems.

Plus, versions older than v1.3.7 are officially no longer supported. And, naturally just because of age, it's harder to find compatible versions since all addons are generally designed for the newer versions, not the very old one you're using.

Whoever is asking you to update the site should be informed of the urgent need to upgrade, with the natural byproduct of that being that the desired support for Linkpoint will be built-in already.

The version is running all of the security updates and to date has not had any incident, but I an aware that it is nearly obsolete. The hold-back is caused by all of the modifications I have put into it, but in order to use the First Data gateway there is no longer any decision but to make the change.

Here's a hidden link to an old linkpoint addon that was originally designed to work on 1.3.0.
I recommend only using it as a bridge until you complete your upgrade, because it likely contains bugs.
