color and size

OK I am having a bit of trouble figuring out how to add colors to my products.

I have searched the forums and found this: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=57

But I am having trouble understanding the set up are there an easier to understand instructions?

I have seen a couple of helpful "video" tutorials on youtube. go there and search for zencart attributes. (or similar phrase)
