Shipping for One Item Treated Differently

I have all my shipping working for my entire store. But now I have one new item that has to be treated differently with regards to shipping. Basically it will be a flat $10 for the first item and $3 for each additional ONLY in WA, OR and CA. The rest of the US will be $20 for the first and $3 for each additional. They also have the option of picking up the item at the store and they have to choose from three specific dates. Is any of this possible?

Most of this can be done with the advanced shipper mod, which is a commercial (but not expensive) add-on.

Ok, thanks. I got it but now I'm not sure how to install it. The Readme file won't open and I assumed I needed to run the SQL file in the 'SQL Patches' section in the Admin but that didn't seem to change anything.

It's a commercial mod. Support comes from the place you purchased it.

I just installed Advanced Shipper. It was quite easy to follow the directions that came with it. And it works brilliantly! In fact, it has far more flexibility and options than I needed.

Where did you find this mod? I need one that will force certain items to be shipping with a minimum of 2-day shipping.
