Now a banner over my logo image PLEASE HELP!

Greetings from a desperate woman LOL. It seems it's one step forward and two steps back today. I'm getting my cart just the way I want it and suddenly I have a zen cart banner over my logo image. I'm using zencart 1.3.9f. I had just added a link to my homepage within the template-default's tpl_header.php and then copied it to my custom template's common folder as suggested. And boom, now a banner in the upper left corner over my logo. Actually though the banner says Powered by Zencart it's a link to the shop. I've searched all over and I can't find a simple answer. I'm very tired. Can someone please point me to where I can fix this?

Thank you Thank YOU!

That's the logo. You can remove it by editing includes/languages/english/header.php

define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'logo.gif');

becomes

define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', '');

and is saved in includes/languages/english/avignon

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so relieved!

You're a lifesaver!

EXCEPT now I notice when I use the IE tab it's showing the little red X where an image should be.

Woe is me, any ideas?

Re: Now a banner over my logo image PLEASE HELP!

Well i added display:none; to #logo in the stylesheet and it seems to have worked. Hopefully that didn't mess something else up. Thanks for the assistance! I was desperate. Think I'll take a dinner break.
