Cant Install via Fantastico

Hi, i have removed Zencart of my Host, now iam trying to reinstall it via Fantastico and it is displaying:

The installation can not be completed:

  • You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

Check the folder on FTP & noting is there, but Fantastico wont let me reinstall Zencart, does anybody know what the problem is?

Hope somebody can help, THANKS :bigups:

Re: Cant Install via Fantastico

There must be at least one file in the root of your site. Be sure your FTP program is configured to show 'hidden' and system files, or take a look using your control panel's file manager.

Most here would suggest that you install Zencart manually, rather than using Fantastico, anyway.

Re: Cant Install via Fantastico

That's not a Zen Cart problem.
Those are all Fantastico problems, which is managed by your hosting company. Contact them for help with such matters.

Re: Cant Install via Fantastico

If you are on shared hosting your webhost will have to do it, but if not you need to edit the following:

home/.fantasticodata/installed_in_root.php
