Museum deciding on new shopping cart

Hi,

My name is Alex, I am working at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. We are currently using osCommerce as our shopping cart, but we are trying to incorporate an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into our website. I have two questions about Zencart:

Can the cart support getting a patron's information for electronic funds transfer?
Can the cart support allowing a patron to write in any amount for a donation?

EFT support would have to come from a mod, which may or may not be currently available. Check in Free Addons. Someone else may have more concrete info on this; if not yet available, you could hire someone to write or port it.

You can make a product with a $1.00 cost and enable two decimal places of fractional quantity, so that people select the "quantity" of donations they want. Wording can be changed to suit.

I see at least three that are supposed to be good for direct bank deposit. Check their support threads for more info.
