Unchecked product notification - after purchase.

Hello, when customer purchases a product and completes transaction, there is a checked box to get notification of purchased product. But if customer unchecked it, the page refreshes and it is still the same checked box. Is that how it should be? I thought this box should remain unchecked because a buyer doesn't want any notifications or updates?

If they uncheck the box and click the Submit button, it should properly save their preferences. If it's not doing that, then maybe you've done something that's broken the HTML form on that template page.

You can verify the customer's preferences by looking at Notifications settings in their My Account area.
