Gift certificate adding value instead of subtracting

Hi

I have just had a customer show me where her gift certificate of $28 was increasing her total instead of reducing it. Has anyone come across this or know what might be causing it?

Amy

Sub-Total: $98.95
Free Shipping Options: $0.00
GST: $9.00
Gift Certificates: -$28.71
Total: $131.52

Re: Gift certificate adding value instead of subtracting

Is anyone able to help with this problem. It seems that every single gift certificate is messing up the total in weird ways. There doesn't seem to by any pattern to the calculations but they are always very, very out.

Can't seem to replicate the problem using a fresh uncustomized clean install of the latest version of Zen Cart with all default admin settings.
