My Store State and nearby state generates NO shipping methods!

Hello,

My clients ZEN-CART store is located in (shipping from) ND.

If you add something to your cart - it goes to the shopping cart page. Now I try to estimate shipping from Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota - there are NO Available Shipping Methods. Even though I have UPS module turned on (green in admin). Seems any nearby state does not have a shipping choice/method.

WAIT...It does work.............If I try to estimate shipping from say Oklahoma, I get the only shipping method I have turned on (in admin) which is UPS. Further away from ND works - close to ND doesn't.

What is up with this? Ghosts maybe?

The zipcode I used to test it - and didn't work is 59301.

Your's doesn't work on 105 pounds plus 3 pounds Tare Rate ... mine does:

However, you will notice that Next Day Air Saver does not show ...

You might enable all methods then see which show for you and where to get the ones that will always show ...

Of course there are small towns that don't get the single method I had selected in the UPS module settings.

Sooooo it's fixed now...Like you said - turn on more 1-day options/methods for the smaller rural towns. I even turned on the 2-Day options as some small towns don't have 1-day service. Yep, it's true.

You are most welcome ... thanks for confirming that the issue is that UPS cannot deliver to ALL addresses will ALL methods and sometimes you need to enable additional methods to cover everywhere ... :smile:
