Removing the right column

Hello,

Just having some trouble with the columns, im trying to remove the right column completely and have done so in the admin section however its still there just a gray block and hasnt given me the desired look, i wanted to get rid of the right column so it makes the page look bigger with the one column.

what am i doing wrong?

goto admin -> layout settings, and change the Column Width - Right Boxes and Column Width - Right to 0px

I have tried changung the sizes to 0 in the layout section, what do you mean about a live view?

Its on there at the moment, i dont have anything in the right column

If you have turned the right sidebox column off globally, your template is overriding that setting. You might try posting in the support thread for that template.
