Better Together and other Cross-sell compatibility

I have installed the Better Together add-on and it works great. I like how i can set a specific "pairing" of Product B shown off when Purchase A is displayed and not the other way around. However, for other products, i would like to ALSO have some random pairing, which is NOT available in the |Better Together addon, but is available in other Cross sell mods.

Question is: has anyone tried to use BOTH of those mods together? are they compatible if used together?
