Removing Home and Login from upper left corner

I would like to put the login link in the right column and remove it (the login link) and the home link from the top left corner including the space that these links makes above my top logo banner.

My version is Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

Easy way would be to add to your stylesheet:

#navMainWrapper {display:none;}

Better way would be to comment out or remove the navMainWrapper section in includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_header.php
