when i require a customer to select an attribute

Hi everyone,

if I need to set attributes to be be selected in order to add to cart, I know what to do but do not get how:oops: I have looked several posts here,this is one of them:

I just would like to know where can I find :

Attribute Flag --> Used For Display Purposes Only:--> set to "YES"

AND

set the PLEASE SELECT option value to "Default Attribute to be Marked Selected"

In Catalog > Attribute Controller, when adding (or editing) an attribute to a product, there is a row of colored boxes. One of those is for default and one is for display only.

One more question, I have radio buttons,so if I do all the steps from above(I mentioned before), I see then Select colour radio button as well.It looks a bit strange, what should I do in order to still be able to control customer adding to cart process but not seeing this button"select colour"?

It is possible to hide that one button with CSS. It's been a while since I've done it, so post a link to see your page and I'll give you the styling needed.
