Product Listing Variables. Change = No Effect?

I'm using the latest version of Zen. In the product listing variables, there are no definitions in the edits and no matter what I put in there, it doesn't change anything. For instance, I do not want the weight to show in the product listing. I don't mind if a weight shows in the cart. Here's the way they are set now:

Display Product Image 1
Display Product Manufacturer Name 0
Display Product Model 0
Display Product Name 2
Display Product Price/Add to Cart 3
Display Product Quantity 0
Display Product Weight 0

That's the point. I CAN'T turn them off. No matter what value I choose in the product listing, it still shows the weight under the product. PLUS, there are no definitions listed in the edit sidebar.

I stated that they ARE turned off and provided the link to the page I viewed

So -in other words- I can see them as Admin but others cannot? Still, why are there no definitions in the edit boxes?

I tried that path that you posted and it doesn't work. Must be incomplete. Also, why can I see the weight under the product description? I even logged off and could STILL see it.

Alright, I got it but click on one of the products and then scroll down. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Well that would be the product info page not the product listing page
You are trying to set items for the product info page in the product listing settings

For the product info page
admin > catalog > product types > general > at the right select edit layout > make your settings

Show Attribute Weight
Show Manufacturer
Show Quantity in Shopping Cart
Show Quantity in Stock
Show Product Reviews Count
Show Product Reviews Button

Finally! Thank you! Now.........what about the others that I messed with? I need to set them back to the default. I only messed with the ones that I showed in my OP.

Look at you displayed product listing on the front end and adjust as you desire

What I mean is load you front end in one window and your admin ib another
Make a setting change
Refresh the frontend to see if that is desired

That's what I've been doing. ***I wish I knew what the defaults were ***because I liked that layout. I'm in there now trying to get it to look the way I want.
