Need a second set of eyes

So...I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the background hover out of my main page banner. I've look so much all the code is starting to blur. I am usally able to find things like that in Mozilla, but this, which is probably under my nose, I can't seem to find. Any help slapping me along would be appreciated.

Re: Need a second set of eyes

As close as I can tell, you have this on #19 of stylesheet.css

a:hover, #navEZPagesTOC ul li a:hover, #navMain ul li a:hover, #navSupp ul li a:hover, #navCatTabs ul li a:hover {
background-color:#003366;
color:#FFFFFF;
text-decoration:underline;
}

This is the code used for JS Image Swapper:

<ul class="p7IRMlist" id="p7IRMlist_1"> <li><a href="includes/templates/an_upscale_boutique/images/banner0.jpg"></a></li> <li><a href="includes/templates/an_upscale_boutique/images/banner1.jpg"></a></li> <li><a href="includes/templates/an_upscale_boutique/images/banner2.jpg"></a></li> <li><a href="includes/templates/an_upscale_boutique/images/banner3.jpg"></a></li> </ul>

The a:hover will be used which is where the background color comes from. Either change the values on line #19 which might screw up other areas or create an ID or Class to use specific to your JS Image Swapper for ul > li > a

Re: Need a second set of eyes

Thanks for helping :)

Yes if I edit line 19 then all the links turn white when you hover over them, so you cant see them anymore. Ive been going back and forth on this for awhile.

So I tried to create an ID or Class and I must be doing something wrong.

After looking over the code again, I saw where another link was.

<div id="p7IRMdv_1" class="p7IRMdv"><a class="p7IRMlink" id="p7IRMlk_1" title=""><img class="p7IRMimage" src="includes/templates/images/banner0.jpg" alt="banner0" name="p7IRMim_1" width="550" height="390" id="p7IRMim_1" /></a></div>

and then

<ul id="p7IRMlist_1" class="p7IRMlist"> <li><a href="includes/templates/images/banner0.jpg"></a></li> <li><a href="includes/templates/images/banner1.jpg"></a></li> <li><a href="includes/templates/mages/banner2.jpg"></a></li> <li><a href="includes/templates/images/banner3.jpg"></a></li> </ul>

so I added this to the stylesheet = and while nothing is showing up behind my slider, the sidebox links are now coming up with the block of white.

a:hover, #p7IRMlist_1 ul li a:hover, .p7IRMlist ul li a:hover, #p7IRMdv_1 ul li a:hover, .p7IRMdv ul li a:hover, .p7IRMlink ul li a:hover, #p7IRMlk_1 ul li a:hover, .p7IRMimage ul li a:hover {
background-color: #ffffff;
}

What am I missing or doing wrong? :cry:

Re: Need a second set of eyes

Undo your changes then try using this.

.p7IRMdv a:hover { background:#fff }
