How do I show url instead of absolute path

Hello all, Everything is Zen Cart is working fine. I am having an issue with the url showing the relative path when I click on a link within the site.

Situation: I have unlimited hosting account with Go Daddy so I host several sites. One of my clients has already purchased the domain name with his own Go Daddy account. I already have his url pointing to a folder on my hosting space.
The url is
http://www.inx-spot.com.

The site comes up fine, but when I click on a hyperlink it does not show inx-spot.com any more instead it shows the actual path that the site lives in. For example:
http://mywebworldnow.com/InxSpotZenCartShoppingCart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

What I am trying to accomplish is have the url show:
http://www.inx-spot.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

Here is my ZenCart and Go Daddy server info:
Server Host: mywebworldnow.com (173.201.216.35) Database Host: myw1027608511176.db.3151988.hostedresource.com (97.74.30.54)
Server OS: Windows NT P3NW8SH177 6.0 build 6002 Database: MySQL 5.0.91-log
Server Date: 11/15/2010 12:36:47
Database Date: 11/15/2010 12:36:47
Server Up Time: Unsupported
HTTP Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.0
PHP Version: 5.2.5 (Zend: 2.2.0)
PHP Memory Limit: 32M
PHP Safe Mode: Off
PHP File Uploads: On
Max Size: 8M
POST Max Size: 8M
Database Data Size: 621 kB
Database Index Size: 481 kB

Thank you in advance for any help with this issue. :)

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

Most likely a windows issue and a question for your host to correct

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

Might also check includes/configure.php for correct path info.

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

@ kobra - I will call Go Daddy later today. I do not know if that is completely correct though. I say this because there is another site I host that is all html. It is the same setup. The client has the url on another Go Daddy account and the url is pointed to a folder in my hosting space. It works fine, the url shows the domain name. when I click links within the site. This is the site.

I'm thinking this is something php related. However, I have no previous php experience so I am at a loss when it comes to php.

Since a long ago falling out with Balmer, I shy away from anything MS

I do know that on a 'nix platform this is configurable at the server to allow a client to set this up

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

@ stevesh - I took a look at the configure.php. It is all showing the folder that I use for the site. I am not sure which to change though. I changed the first to lines to the the url but no change on the site. Could you take a look?
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.inx-spot.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.inx-spot.com');

// Use secure webserver for checkout procedure?
define('ENABLE_SSL', 'false');

// NOTE: be sure to leave the trailing '/' at the end of these lines if you make changes!

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
// these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... (ie: under the public_html or httpdocs folder)
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/InxSpotZenCartShoppingCart/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/InxSpotZenCartShoppingCart/');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');
define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_PHPBB', '/');
// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
//the following path is a COMPLETE path to your Zen Cart files. eg: /var/www/vhost/accountname/public_html/store/
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', 'D:\Hosting\3151988\html\InxSpotZenCartShoppingCart/');
...
define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'none');

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

It looks like those paths are necessary so the php knows were to find the files. The weird thing though is I clicked on the link. http://www.inx-spot.com/index.php?ma...=index&cPath=1
and it opened the page.

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

If truly an added domain under your account

Try replacing this

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/InxSpotZenCartShoppingCart/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/InxSpotZenCartShoppingCart/');

With this

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

Save your original locally in case

Re: How do I show url instead of absolute path

Yeap, I don't want to loose my Visual Studio skills though, that is why I'm sticking with the Windows hosting plan. :)

Apache - - even on windoze - -
**should **obey the addon domain rules

Under those rules the top/root of a site that is added is addressed at "/"

When are you going to get real and move to a business host versus a mass marketed, over hyped, let grandma see pictures host?
