Purchasing with paypal and not having to register

Hi

I've set up the site using PayPal Website Payments Standard - IPN.

I've got a PayPal sandbox account so I can test the purchase process.

However, when I go to check out, I'm required to fill in a form to register my details on the website.

Is there any way I can bypass this? All I need is for someone to select a product, add to cart, and then click on check out and proceeded with PayPal only option.

I've been asked this by the person I'm creating the site for; she doesn't require any registrations etc...

Issue will be if they do not have a PayPal account - - where will it be shipped?? or entered?

Thanks for responding, since posting this question I've done some searching and it seems that this is an issue with many people.

I personally think that logging in and creating an account is the way to go, but I can understand why people would want the registration page out of the way.

I read somewhere that using Paypal express checkout has the effect I'm looking for, but I installed it and used my PP sandbox account.

Unfortunately it doesn't, you are still presented with the create an account page.

One last thing if we have to go down that option of people registering, is there anyway I can edit the registration page?

I'd like to add other items to the page, at the moment it only has the option for Mr and Ms, what about Mrs?

Also I'd like to remove some of the required fields

That is the only options available at this time

admin > config > Customer Details > the options that can be adjusted

There are also a few 3ed party addons available such as one page checkout in the downloads area

PayPal Express Checkout will let you checkout without a paypal account only if your account has that option enabled.
