How to Install a Re-direct index between the web and ZC

Hello,

I am using ZC 1.3.9h on Ubuntu and Apache. What I want to do is to install a index page between my zc install index.php and the web. It probably would be easy if I had installed ZC down a level, however, I would like to put it in the same root directory that I have the ZC installed in.

Ok,

New index.html with link pointing to ZC,

Rename index.php to ZC_index.php?

What will the issues be with the rename, how many modules will have to be re-coded?

Given this, would you just recommend a reinstall one level down, and then re-work the server?

Thank you for helping me understand the issues of my (newby) configuration choices.

Don't even consider doing this...way too many files/functions
