Text Option Value in Drop Down Or Radio Option Name

I am trying to set up embroidery as a product on one of my sites to allow a customer to add custom printing and embroidery options to garments.

I am asking customers to choose the font of the words they require embroidering and have listed 5 radio style options of familiar fonts.

I have added a radio attribute for "other" fonts and i am trying to allow a text field to show up when that radio option is selected so that customers can type in their font.

Is it possible to mkae a radio attribute vlaue when selected open a text box up?

Not without writing custom code to intelligently figure out which specific attribute is being displayed, and write appropriate custom javascript code to detect the click and then display the field and force something to be entered in it before the page can be submitted.

You're basically trying to create javascript-driven dynamic attribute dependencies ... which isn't a built-in feature at the present time. :blush:

Is there a way of allowing the selection of more than 1 option value under one option name.

In other words i am setting up an attribute for logo position and some customer's may want a logo in more than one place (e.g. left chest and right sleeve).

Is this possible?

If you make them checkboxes, then multiple choices can be made.
Radio buttons or dropdowns are single choices.
