Checkout Page disappears when more than 19 item in cart

Hi,

I seem to have a problem related to the number of items in the shopping cart.

If there are more than 19 items (that is the total, including multiples of the same item) the shipping options on the bottom of the shopping cart are not displayed and also if I go to the checkout page, it is blank.

Any clues? I installed the debug add on and the log contains thousands of these error messages.

Those "ereg() is deprecated" messages reveal that you're using an outdated version of Zen Cart on a newer version of PHP for which that version of Zen Cart was not designed, nor is compatible.

Thanks. I'm in the process of converting to the latest version. Not an easy job.

It would be good if every contributed module has to write a record into the database that contained information on when it was installed, version date etc.

It would make upgrading a lot easier.

Understood. When version 2 is released, upgrading will be much easier because of a very adaptive plugin system. But that's not ready yet (for updates on its status, subscribe yourself to the forum's News & Announcements section).

In the meantime, simply identify all the changes to your site, what addons they're related to, and recreate those changes in the new version. WinMerge is a handy tool for that. Upgrading is discussed in more detail in the FAQs area.
