all locations for url paths?

Hi, I have a development version of my Zen Cart that I want to use prior to rolling changes to our live site. It is at the URL dev.xxxx.com, with the live site at https://www.xxxx.com.

I have changed the configuration files at /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php to reflect the new urls.

I have also changed the sessions path in the database to reflect the new filesystem location of the development version.

Everything in the catalog works fine, but when I go to log into the admin panel, the form submission button and the 'resend password' link both point to the 'www' version. So of course I can't log in.

This seems strange because I thought that the paths were supposed to be taken from the configure.php files? Or is there another location I should be looking, in the database perhaps?

I tried setting cache = none in the admin configure.php but that did not seem to make a difference.

Any ideas?

Re: all locations for url paths?

I think this has to do with SSL, because when I disable it, the paths are correct. And I am getting the same kind of issue in the catalog with SSL enabled.

Maybe this is an apache issue?

Re: all locations for url paths?

Could be an apache issue, or could be simply an incorrect combination of URLs and paths in your configure.php files.

Re: all locations for url paths?

....or maybe you enabled SSL without actually having a Full SSL Certificate for your website?
