Adding Product - don't see field for weight.

Using Zencart v1.3.9f

When I add a product I don't see a field for weight.

Do I need to enable something to let me specify weight for an individual product?

You should see at the bottom of the screen, 2nd to last input box ...

Products Shipping Weight:

If you do not, check the Product Type that you are using ...

Another simple (related) question - can someone please advise how to change the default Zencart system units from lbs to kg? Can't find it anywhere in the admin panel :no:

This is not in your Zen Cart Admin ...

The lb is just text, and as such, you would need to customized your language files ...

Using the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... enter in the bottom input box:
lb

to find both lb and lbs ...

NOTE: as the lb is just text and not a true conversion on weight, you may need to adjust the settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... depending on your shipping methods ...
