i can not open product list page in back office

hi,all.I used Easy Populate to upload products.
After that i can not open the Categories which ware new created.
eg:
id 18 was new created

I visit
/admin/categories.php?cPath=0_18
to view product list,but the page changes to
/admin/categories.php?cPath=0 .

i checked product table,find those products master_categories_id ware null,so i changed master_categories_id to their categories id.
but i still can not visit products list page.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Sounds like bad data ... your cPath should never start with 0_ ...

hi,Ajeh,i use Zen Cart 1.3.8a,other Categories in back office can be opened.Just the Categories created by EP can not be opened.
And i also try /admin/categories.php?cPath=18 ,but still does not works

If you import your data and the Categories and Products are not done correctly then you have bad data ...

Do you use Linked Products?

If not, you can try one thing that might help if this is just missing data where you do not have the master_categories_id set and the products_price_sorter ...

However, if you use Linked Products the following can cause problems ...

First, backup your database ...

Then, in the Tools ... Store Manager ... run the:

Reset ALL Products Master Categories ID
to be used for Linked Products and Pricing: Reset

then run the:

Update ALL Products Price Sorter
to be able to sort by displayed prices: Update

to see if this fixes the problem ...

hi,Ajeh,thanks for your help,i did as you say,but it does not work. I still can not open that cate list page .
I find that 2 cates i added are not in drop down menu ( Display category in Quick Updates). it is really Strange.

i compare 2 cates with other cates in Database(table categories_description and table categories),but do not find anything wrong.
it is really Strange.

What version Zen Cart?

Clean install or an Upgrade?

If an Upgrade, what did you Upgrade from?

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template?
