Nothing showing in 'All Products' Page

Products are showing correctly on site everywhere, except in 'All Products', displays no products. Have verified correct settings in Admin->configuration->New Listings. Using version 1.3.9 with a template.

Probably the template's done some alterations to your files you should try switching to template classic (as DrByte once suggested me) to see if the problem persists..

I've been focusing on the 'tpl_products_all_default.php' and the 'tpl_modules_products_all_listing.php' file. Haven't been able to find anything yet. Already tried new settings in admin->config->All Listing, and could not get any products to post, even with other #'s for 'Default Products All Group ID'. Is set to '23', other numbers didn't work either.

Still no listings showing. Just verified the master_categories_id value is present in PHPMyAdmin (products table).

By any chance do you have a category named TOP? It maybe because the products are in a category "TOP" and they won't show then.
I recall something like that when I first started out.

If I select Catalog->Categories/Products, the 'Categories / Products - Top' shows, there are only categories here, not any products. All products are listed in subcategories with other names.

OK, on the live site when you select all products, what does it say in the bread crumbs? I apologize for not being able to spend the time o help you research/solve this problem. As I recall, it's a simple issue but a pain to find the answer. Do you still have a category named Top in the sub categories ?

I don't see any category named 'Top' in the subcategories. However the 'Go-To-> drop-down menu' does display 'Top' as the label for the main 'Categories/Products' Listings. On the live site, only displayed "there are no products to list', I did edit that text to say: choose products from left column menu. As the products show correctly on those, in Specials, Featured, etc.

The breadcrumb navigation is turned off in this template. Just a 'Sort by" menu is displayed. -I'd like to try the original classic template, to see what happens (I'm suspecting the issue is in the template .php file), but after many days of edits I wonder if the new template will reload?
