How to Display Read only Attributes in Category Lists?

I am new to Zen Cart. This is my second site and requires a significant amount of customization.

I am running 1.3.9g.

I have customized the install significantly and have one major issue remaining before I can focus on the aesthetics.

I need to display 5 read only attributes on the within the category lists.

I believe this can be accomplished by calling the "tpl_modules_attributes.php" from the "products_listing.php" file if nested properly.

I, however, do not know PHP. I have been able to figure a great deal out through trial and error, but this one has me somewhat stumped.

Has anyone already done this? If not, am I heading in the right direction?
