How to change the address from which the script is sending emails to customers?

Hy!

I've tried to change the email address form which the mails are sent at sign-up, order confirmation etc. The email that appears now is in format 'nobody @ XXX.octosquid.com' and i like to define another address to do this job. How is this possible?

this option is changing only the reply-to address, and not the sender's address... I'd like tho change the sender's address.

I've found the answer....the problem was my SMTP config...i had some problems with the SMTP in the past, and i've set my SMTP port to 26 instead of 25...and i forgot this detail...now it's up and running! :D
