Prodcut Specific Discount Coupon? - not working

hi there, using v1.3.9h.

I;m trying to setup a discount coupon for a specific product on my website....my module for discount coupon is installed, but can't seem to figure out how to target specific items.....anyone have an idea of where I'm going wrong?

After you have made the Discount Coupon, you will see a RESTRICTIONS button ...

Set the Categories to TOP Deny and then add the details on what is allowed based on Categories and/or Products ...
