Suddenly my images don't show

Suddenly none of my images are showing, but only a box with red x.

I do not use individual product images, but only category images.

Everything was fine yesterday. Today, Gone!

I tried to re-upload a couple. No effect.

What has happened? I have not changed anything. Why suddenly no images?

Checking with Firebug I get access errors:
e.g.: "NetworkError: 403 Forbidden - http://sydneycandle.com/Store/images/DRP_4757_VicChristmas.png"
Apparently for all product/category images.
So there's something wrong with your access settings. Either file or folder, or .htaccess. I don't know better, sorry.
How this can happen without you (or someone else) doing anything is beyond me. Perhaps your hoster?

Thanks for the reply. I'll check with my host to see if there is a problem they can see. This happened overnight. Everything was fine yesterday, and has been since I installed Zen Cart last June.

Only thing I did to it recently was add a couple of Christmas gift baskets and a Special gift version of Victorian Christmas. Strange.

I looked all through admin to see if there was something obvious, but couldn't find anything.

I don't think there's anything you can do in the backend to change access to image files ...
Can you check access rights with your ftp program? If folder and image files are readable by everyone?
Still, they don't change just like that ...

Sounds like an access issue like lausianne said. I get the following message when accessing a single image file :
