How can I know customer is on check out pages?

Hello,

Does anyone know how can I know if customer is on the check out pages? (select address, billing, and final order page)

Our situation is like: we have the shopping_cart sidebox on the left of the site. And I think it would be best to hide the shopping cart sidebox when the customer is already on the check out pages. Otherwise, it may confuse the customer. (I am not sure how to hide it yet, so any input on this is also welcome)

You can remove right left or both sidebox columns on check out pages.

Look at the url address the first page is
[CODE]/index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping[/CODE
so following the tutorial you add

checkout_shipping

Same for other pages

They are alresdy checking out/buying - - just turn off both right and left for these pages and keep it clean
You don't want them clicking away from purchasing
