Please help Website not showing up as tutorial says

I have done all the tutorials but my site will still not show up unless i do the back slash and add zencart to the url. Can someone please help me with this. url is: https://www.leatherparlor.com

only way i am able to get to the store is by adding /zencart to end of url. I want it to be as the tutorial says and match the url https://www.leatherparlor.com

Your Zencart installation is still in the /zencart directory. This is the tutorial you want:

Thank you Stevesh... i have done all that it says and it is still not showing up...

I am not wanting to move it to another diectory. It is in the folder zencart... i have done all that it says but i can not get it to work.

If so. you need to move all the folders and files from the /zencart folder to the root (top) directory of your site and edit the two configure.php files to remove the /zencart part from the paths.

ok so i need to download the zencart folder to my desktop... then delete all folders in the root directory and then reupload the entire zencart to the root directory ? As you can see i am new to all this... i sent you a private message cause you and kobra seem to be only ones who are willing to help us newbies... now just so i have this right... i need to download the entire zencart folder to my harddrive.... remove all folders and files from the root directory where my FTP logs me into. then upload everything that in INSIDE the folder of zencart to that location....now after doing the upload i need to edit the 2 php files... now i have never understood php so can you walk me through the editting... I am sorry to be such a pain but i am wanting to get this site and another up ASAP.. i am just new to all this and alot of it is very confusing to me...

Nope. How did you install Zencart in the first place ?

The websites where hosted through godaddy. They do it as an add on. When i open my FTP I see the Zencart folder, statics folder and a _db_backups folder...

that is all that is in there... nothing else

ok since i have to get this up and going i guess the only thing i can do is try to make a page that will do an automatic redirect into the zencart folder to the index.php page..... If someone can explain another way than this please do asap as i want to have both sites up and running by tomorrow morning
