Remove Manufacturer from Browser Bar

When I click a Manufacturer from the Manufacturer side box the browser tab reads Manufacturer:TITLE, SITE_TAGLINE

Microsoft:Atomicbit.com, Taranto Info Systems.

I don't want Manufacturers or Product in my browser bar?, Help.

Did you try to customize the module file for the meta_tags.php around line 148:

          define('META_TAG_TITLE', str_replace('"','', $manufacturer_metatags->fields['manufacturers_name'] . PRIMARY_SECTION . TITLE . TAGLINE));

You can test you are fixing the correct line with something like:

          define('META_TAG_TITLE', 'HELLO WORLD!' . str_replace('"','', $manufacturer_metatags->fields['manufacturers_name'] . PRIMARY_SECTION . TITLE . TAGLINE));

NOTE: Be sure that you use your templates and overrides file for the changes ...

I looked in includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php and did not see it there.

Could you look for the module in the:
/includes/modules/meta_tags.php

and you can then customize it and put your changes in:
/includes/modules/your_template_dir/meta_tags.php
