Default CAPTCHA feature not working

I recently upgraded a neglected Zen store and ended up installing a fresh 1.3.9 version and pieced it back together from the old site and imported all the required mods, templates, and DB from the old store. Everything is working fine EXCEPT the default CAPTCHA feature.

I am unclear, but I don't think its a mod I believe it comes with the install. Its configuration settings appear in the admin and I can edit them and such.

The problem is its not active on any form pages... at all. There is no CAPTCHA field on any of the regular pages you would expect to find it. And I can't find where to "switch it on" so to speak.

What am I missing?

There's no captcha built in to Zencart, so you had installed a mod at one time. There are several mods dealing with captcha in the Free Software Add Ons area.

Thanks, but there is a configuration link "Captcha" and its not any mod I installed. Its a fresh install of 1.3.9F. The Captcha was already there under Configuration???

Where exactly in admin ? Where did you get the Zencart zip file you used to install Zencart ?

I figured it out. You are correct, there is no default CAPTCHA. It was left behind in the database move from the old site.
