.htaccess file 1.3.9h ?

Hello,

Wondering if there should be a .htaccess file in the root of Zen Cart?

Should I have one in there?

using 1.3.9h

That wasn't the plan!

Re: .htaccess file 1.3.9h ?

Is the .htaccess packaged in the 1.3.9h version?

I don't see it in the root of the install.

Are there suggestions on .htaccess file script for the root directory of shop?

That wasn't the plan!

Re: .htaccess file 1.3.9h ?

There is no default .htaccess for Zen Cart, which is why you can't find one. Although it is true that one "can" put in a default .htaccess it should only be be done, if and when one is needed. It will probably happen at some point but in the beginning, it is not needed -- for Zen Cart purposes -- and is one less file to worry about.

The learning is in the doing.

Re: .htaccess file 1.3.9h ?

OK.

I guess I assumed there would be as .htaccess files were bundled in several folders in the package other than the root of shop.

Is there a recommendation for .htaccess script for root dir of shop 1.3.9h?

I want to make the shop as secure as possible.
