Get and display content for productDetailsList? (product model)

Hello,

Does anyone know where do I get the content for productDetailsList (product model)?

I took a look of the tpl_product_info_display file, but can't find there it gets the values for $products_model.

What I want to do is to append $products_model to the end of the product title in a number of places, for example, in the checkout's final page, in the order confirmation email, in the order history page, etc.

Actually I am thinking maybe we should handle this in a different way: instead of changing all the places to add the model name to the end of the product name, when an order is created, I assume the product information (title) will be saved with the order, so is there a way I can append the model name to the product title when the order is saved?
