Next Link Not Working Past 2nd Page

Example of website I am referring to: http://www.brazoscollection.com/crystal-beads/misc?sort=20a&page=3-c-236

Some categories with lots of products listed appear to work fine. But these category in particular (there may be others) that has more than 2 pages of listed products cannot get past page 2. If you either click on Next or click on the numbers 3 or 4 or 5, it just send you back to page 1.

I tried reviewing the products in the admin and looking for weird things in that last 60th product or the 61st product where it never seems to go forward - but nothing looked different or odd.

Any advice on where to look or what to fix?

What happens if you turn off the SEO/rewrites does it start working properly? :unsure:

I haven't tried to turn the SEO/rewrites off yet, but I think that is where the problem lies. We noticed that if you hover over the links they are different than what appears in the actual browser url bar when you try to visit them. And the link structure is different than the first 2 pages (which were functioning fine).

** Ok just tried going to Configuration > SSU Status and turned to False. After that the links started working again (for page 3 and 4, etc.). I turned them back to On and they went back to the original issue (only first 2 pages in this category will work).
